Professional Standards

At Beacon Mobile Notary and Business Services, we adhere to the highest standards of integrity and accuracy. All notarizations and services are performed in compliance with applicable state laws and regulations. We reserve the right to decline service if proper identification or required documentation is not presented.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Your privacy is our priority. All documents, personal information, and conversations are kept strictly confidential and are never shared with third parties. We do not store copies of notarized documents unless required by law or for proof of service.

Identification Requirements

We require a valid, government-issued photo ID for all notarizations. Acceptable forms include:

  • State-issued driver’s license or ID card
  • Passport
  • U.S. Military ID
  • Permanent Resident Card

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Same-day cancellations may incur a $25 fee.
  • No-shows will be charged the full service fee.

We understand emergencies happen—please contact us as soon as possible if plans change.

Payment Policy

Payment is due at the time of service unless invoicing has been pre-approved. We accept:

  • Credit/Debit – 3% processing fee
  • Mobile payments (e.g., Venmo, PayPal)) + 3% processing fee
  • Business checks (for verified clients)
  • Cash

 

Nonprofit Support Policy

We proudly offer free notary services to registered nonprofit organizations. Proof of nonprofit status (501(c)(3) or equivalent) is required at the time of service.

Service Boundaries

We provide mobile services throughout the greater Kansas City area. Travel outside this range may incur an additional mileage fee, which will be disclosed at booking.
